Guests say

Tandarra, a well-presented cottage in Keswick, is praised for its beautiful views, spacious and comfortable rooms, and enclosed garden. It's pet-friendly and suitable for larger groups or families. The location is excellent, with easy access to local walks and the town centre. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, such as an overgrown garden and a wasps' nest, guests have had wonderful stays and some have rebooked for future visits.

Most guests found Tandarra clean and well-presented. However, there were comments about having to wash cutlery and finding rubbish in the kitchen bin, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness standards.

The property's location is highly praised for its fabulous views and proximity to Keswick town centre and local walks, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Guests generally found the beds comfortable and the property spacious. There was a single mention of beds that could be more comfortable, but overall, the comfort level is regarded as high.

Facilities are well-received, with some concerns about water pressure, a wasps' nest, and garden maintenance. The need for a more powerful vacuum cleaner and additional hangers was also mentioned.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Due to a wasp nest we could not use the back door. Lovely back room but we struggled with 4 of us so 6 must be interesting. The room is a good size but not enough seats.

The garden really did need the lawn cut and some of the shrubs and apple trees in the back garden trimmed back. Additionally, the vacuum cleaner provided needs to be replaced as it's power was limited. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again.
