Guests say

Tethera is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and stunning views. The property's location offers a tranquil setting and proximity to Keswick, though the challenging driveway is noted. The apartment is equipped with high-quality amenities, contributing to a homely and luxurious experience.

Guests consistently commend the property for its exceptional cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting the spotless condition upon arrival. The meticulous upkeep contributes positively to the overall experience.

The property boasts fabulous views and a peaceful setting, with easy access to Keswick and local attractions. However, the unsurfaced drive and distance from certain amenities slightly affect the convenience for some guests.

Reviewers find the apartment comfortable, with high-quality furniture and a cosy atmosphere. The beds and seating are particularly appreciated, although there is a suggestion for updating the lounge seating.

The apartment is well-equipped with high-spec appliances and provides a luxurious stay. However, there are mentions of a dehumidifier's noise and a desire for more natural light, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests appreciate the provision of high-quality amenities and extras like birdseed and walking books, there is no consistent mention of gifts such as tea or coffee, which are not guaranteed and thus cannot be scored.

It had great views and all the comforts you need,it was a home away from home. It is a great location for many walks and I would highly recommend this apartment for a great stay in the lakes.

There was scaffold around the property which affected the look , but didn’t particularly affect our stay. However we were very rudely awoken one morning with loud music and workmen walking across our breakfast terrace taking the scaffolding down. This was very disturbing and I felt considering the high cost and ecxpectations of the holiday I should have been informed at the point of booking, or offered alternative accommodation, so that I could have made an informed choice about booking this property. For these reasons I would not book Sykes’s cottages again and would not recommend to friends and family.
