The Nook in Keswick is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its excellent location, comfort, and en-suite facilities in every bedroom. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, cosy snug areas, and the secure garden, ideal for pets. The welcome pack is a delightful touch, although its provision may vary. Some minor issues with maintenance and cleanliness were noted, but overall, guests are highly satisfied and often return for repeat visits.
Most guests found The Nook to be spotless and very clean. However, a few mentioned areas for improvement, such as dust on surfaces, cobwebs, and a need for a deeper clean in some parts. The overall high standard of cleanliness is acknowledged.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being quiet yet within walking distance to the town centre and local amenities. Its proximity to Fitz Park and the convenience of off-road parking are also appreciated.
Guests report that The Nook is very comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm atmosphere, especially during cold weather. The presence of en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom adds to the comfort level. Some guests mentioned the beds being too small or hard, but these seem to be isolated preferences.
The property is well-equipped with a modern kitchen, comfortable furniture, and a lovely garden. Some guests experienced issues with blinds and underfloor heating, and suggested the addition of hooks in bathrooms. The need for better maintenance in some areas was noted.
While guests have mentioned a generous welcome pack, there are not enough references to consistently assess the thoughtfulness of such gestures across all reviews. Therefore, it is politely noted that such amenities may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The open plan extension was really comfortable and warm and excellent for the whole party to be in the same room but not crowded. The kitchen was well equipped, clean and a joy to cook in. The heating system was easy to adjust and kept the house really warm for a winter stay. En suite bathrooms for all bedrooms was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again as it was far enough from the centre of town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk in for a meal, shopping or pubs. Very close to Fitz Park for dog walks too.

Barely any traffic passing by really left us feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere. Off street parking in Keswick is a must and this was just perfect for us. We will be back!
