The conservatory and garden are highlights, offering views of local wildlife and a place to relax. While some guests missed having Wi-Fi and noted maintenance issues, the property's charm and proximity to local attractions have led to repeat visits and positive experiences overall.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests highlighting its cleanliness as a positive aspect. However, one review mentioned a damp smell and dirt under the fridge, slightly lowering the score.

The location is generally appreciated for being quiet and within walking distance to Keswick town centre and local attractions. Some guests found the distance longer than expected, which affects the score.

Guests find the property comfortable, with a particularly comfortable double bed and pleasant living room. However, concerns about heating and the conservatory being too hot in good weather slightly affect the comfort score.

While the property is deemed fairly well-equipped, several reviews cite issues with Wi-Fi absence, dated decor, and maintenance problems. These factors, along with comments on the need for better kitchen equipment and heating, impact the facilities score.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

We will most likely book another visit sometime soon. WiFi would be a good addition to the property as phone signal is a bit restricted in the area.

Nicely sized/designed bungalow, with just the facilities needed/equipment in kitchen, without any extraneous 'stuff' that we would never use. Step down from kitchen to conservatory was oddly challenging. Some searches on Google Maps suggests a path exists at the rear of property that would be a short cut to town, but this does not exist and you HAVE to walk via Brundholme Road (not a problem for us). Rabbits may seem an odd asset, but walking back late evening amongst the semi-tame bunnies hopping around Briar Rigg was magic!

The double bed was very comfortable.
