This beautifully styled pod is situated on a working sheep farm surrounded by the Northern Fells and has stunning views towards Blencathra. The village of Threlkeld is just over a mile away with some lovely country pubs, a cricket pavilion and a golf course. The market town of Keswick is just 4 miles away, The Mountain Festival, which is usually held in May or June, offers three days of world-class sports, outdoor activities, talks, and films with live music. The shore path at Bassenthwaite runs the length of the West shore, there is an open-air theatre which is worth a visit. The Lakes Distillery is just 12 miles away, why not book a tour or tasting session or visit the resident Alpacas.
Entering the pod, you will find a spacious bright open-plan living area with sofa and Smart TV, which will allow you to log into your Netflix account and enjoy a good film. There is a double bed with views out over the fells and a kitchen area with a two-ring gas hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, it offers everything you need to rustle up breakfast and a quick bite. Finally, there is a bathroom which has a shower and WC.
The pod has a nice private feel, with a dry-stone wall and planting, private parking space for one car and a lovely covered decking to the front entrance with seating.

Lovely place and people . No grill or oven is a challenge for a self catering place . Overall it was really nice though and would use it again .
