We had an amazing holiday with fab weather. The house is great, really spacious, comfy beds and a nice living room. The kitchen is adequate and although small everything we needed for our stay. The only negative is the size of the fridge. Could definitely do with a bigger one (possibly in the shed) as it was not possible to accommodate all our needs and for a larger group would have been insufficient. After saying that we managed. Shower room is great and as stated the stairs are steep but wasnât an issue for us. Great to have a porch for boots and coats etc. Netflix also a bonus. We love Keswick and all its great bars and especially love the food at The Bank. We also had good meals at the Twa Dogs.

The downside of the house for us, was the very to the point note left in all of the bedrooms. The note asked that the beds were to be stripped and the bedding left with the towels in the black bin bags provided. Also, there was a note in the 'Welcome Book' advising that if there was any evidence of dog hair etc when we left then an additional fee may be applied. This all felt very unwelcoming and made the end of the holiday feel rather like a visit to a Youth Hostel. We feel that we actually left the house cleaner when we left, than it was when we arrived.

Great location, 5 minute walk to the town centre and a lovely park at the end of the road. Definitely stay there again, would recommend to anyone thinking of staying on the Lake District.
