Enviably situated in the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay awarded The David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation enjoys 60 acres of delightful wooded parkland running down to the shores of Lake Windermere.
Surrounded by fells offering beautiful scenery all year round, this is a perfect base for walking, climbing, fishing (national fishing licence required), sailing and boating with Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness all nearby.
After time spent exploring take a dip in the heated indoor pool with sauna followed by a relaxing evening in The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant.
Accommodation is within easy reach of the lake and clubhouse, however please be aware that there may be steep gradients and undulating ground.
Please Note: There are no facilities available on Christmas Day and ticket access only on New Year's Eve.

A lovely clean and beautiful site overlooking Lake Windermere. Ideal for water sports. The lodges are new to us providing all u need and we loved them, clean and spacious and comfortable. The restaurant on site was a real bonus with excellent food served and very helpful staff. Location is Ideal for lovely Ambleside, Grasmere and the beautiful Bowness.
