Footprints by the Lake is a simply stunning, well-appointed three bedroom holiday lodge at White Cross Bay. It enjoys a much sought-after position on the park being situated by the lake and marina. The lodge will comfortably sleep 6 guests plus an infant in a travel cot. There is an outside private hot tub located to the side of the lodge – perfect to relax in after a long day hiking. Step into the spacious open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, with fully retractable concertina doors with breath-taking views towards the lake and marina, relax in front of the focal electric fire with a delightful book or enjoy a family movie night, this lodge offers everything you need for the perfect holiday. The Kitchen diner makes preparing an evening meal a breeze and adequate seating for six around the dining table, ensuring you get that quality time together. At night-time retreat into one of the three bedrooms this lodge has to offer, the Master bedroom features King size wooden bed frame, bedside drawers and wardrobe, TV, en suite shower room with double width walk in shower, hand basin and toilet. The second and third bedroom both offer twin single beds, bedside drawers, and wardrobe with the one of which has the added facility of a TV. The stylish family bathroom offers a full-size bath with overhead shower sink and W/C.

White Cross Bay Holiday Park sits on the shores of Lake Windermere with panoramic views across the Lakes and to the fells beyond, making this location a wonderful choice for your Lakes getaway. The site is home to a host of fabulous facilities for an additional cost paid directly with the park to enjoy including an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, and a spa pool, along with a children’s play area and activities, as well as a convenience shop, bar and restaurant and even a Costa Coffee! Head to the fun filled Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre offering a wide range of activities for all ages from strolling around the pretty gardens, enjoying a sweet treat in the café, walking one of the trails or attempting the Tree Top Trek, there is something for everyone! You are just a few miles from the charming town of Windermere too, bursting with quaint and quirky local shops to browse, along with more traditional pubs and restaurants, while neighbouring Bowness is home to The World of Beatrix Potter Experience. The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Accommodation

All ground level :Three Bedrooms: 1 x King Size with ensuite shower room with WC, basin, heated towel rail, 2 x full size twins with bedside drawers & storage, family bathroom with full size bath, over bath electric thermostatic shower, basin and WC, open plan living space with fitted kitchen, dining area, outside the decking features private hot tub and outside furniture, a slab or base is provided for a BBQ but please bring your own disposable BBQ, dedicated WiFi connection, thick fluffy monogrammed towels , centrally heated ensuring a comfortable stay all year round.

There is designated parking for two cars to the side of the lodge (an additional car can be parked in the spaces along the main drive close to the marina).

Full gas central heating.

Gas hob and electric oven, fridge, freezer dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, beverage fridge, electric fire, smart TV , TV in master and second bedroom.

Hot Tub - please note, use of hot tub is between 10am and 10pm only.

Fuel and power included in rent.

Bed linen and towels included in rent (please bring any leisure towels).

Parking for two cars.

Please note, charging of electric vehicles is not permitted in this lodge, The nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.
