Opening the arched door to the cabin you step into a well-designed and modern open plan, self-contained timber cabin interior that is tastefully decorated, beautifully lit and is complete with a four-poster bed and ensuite facilities with shower.
A huge part of the charm of Dog Crag Cabin is the mix of functional simplicity on offer whilst still retaining key comforts and style. Dog Crag Cabin is a truly special retreat and is perfect for couples or single guests. The Cabin welcomes up to two pets, has secure storage for bicycles and makes a perfect base for active holidays.
The Cumbrian Coastal Way is nearby (and can be accessed via a footpath from the farm), Silecroft Beach is just 2.5 miles away and the often-forgotten Wainright of Black Coombe, with its views over the Irish Sea and the Isle of Man is also very close by.

We had such a nice relaxing time at the cabin with our doggo. Even though the kitchen is minimalistic you literally had everything you needed. There is a booklet in the cabin which tells you everything you need to know about the area including walks, shops and the beach. We loved it here

A magnificent area to stay for scenery & walks. Lovely friendly lady. Thought there was a cooker but wasn’t, work surface hob took a long time to cook on. Lovely to have all the regular supplies on arrival though. No ice box in fridge. It was hard to find a nice place to eat locally but this shouldn’t detract from the great location and friendly reception. We were comfortable and May well stay again.
