This was my second stay, I first came two years ago and loved it then as well. Not everything in the place looks brand new, but it's in good condition and is very easy to relax in. The frying pan is rubbish though. ;-)

However ongoing maintenance seems to have been let go. Several light bulbs were out, could not see out of kitchen windows (dirty), grouting along tap end of shower was crumbling, the front door to flat would not stay shut without being locked. The internal door handles creaked and made noise, they would also not stay shut and kept opening... Lamp in bathroom above sink is rusty. When anyone sat on toilet the floorboards creak (warped floorboards or broken joists ?) Fridge door storage broken (seriously reduces what can be stored ! Wonderful location. Would I stay in Coniston again, YES Would I stay In Bluebird Loft again, NO
