Our party of 10 from age 2 to 84 found the cottage delightful and well equipped. The youngsters missed WiFi but got used to the idea of managing without it. Itâs a wonderful peaceful location and we particularly loved being able to walk on footpaths to the lake, into Coniston and seeing the tiny lambs in the field next to the house. The mattresses were rather hard sadly and the House Book information needs updating on recycling but we enjoyed the underfloor heating and would love to return one day.
