Facilities and utilities were all as expected and we had no complaints. Great place to do local walks from too without needing to drive far , or at all for some.

The house is beautiful and the games room with pool table was great fun in the evening. We found the location of the property great for exploring the lakes. We walked from the property to the nearby Coniston Inn, Bluebird Cafe (great for breakfast) and the village. The bus 505 stops outside the Coniston Inn and goes to Ambleside where you can pick up the open top bus. We definitely want to come back
