Snaptrip says

The Flowing River is a well-received apartment with guests praising its cleanliness, serene riverside location, and well-equipped facilities. It serves as a tranquil retreat and a convenient base for exploring local attractions. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues and suggested improvements for comfort, but overall experiences have been positive.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the apartment as clean and immaculate, indicating high standards of cleanliness. There was a single mention of dust and a sticky substance, but these seem to be exceptions.

The location is frequently highlighted for its beauty and convenience for exploring the Lake District. However, some guests noted noise from the nearby road, which slightly detracted from the otherwise peaceful setting.

The apartment is generally found to be comfortable, with a few guests commenting on the relaxing environment. Criticisms include the size of the bed and seating, which affected the comfort level for some.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the kitchen appliances and Wi-Fi. However, several reviews mention issues with maintenance such as non-working fans, heating problems, and poor soundproofing, which impacts the score.

While some guests appreciated the welcome pack, there is insufficient information to determine the consistency of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or extra touches. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should not expect guaranteed gifts.

We have had very good stays both times. The property is clean, comfortable and has great access to lots of local attractions. We love that it is right on the river - so relaxing! Parking is great. Lots of lovely walks near by. It's nice and tucked away even though it's close to main roads so a really nice place to have a bit of a 'busy life detox'. We would highly recommend coming here. And we will be back time and time again. We love it here!

Would have been a nice touch after a long drive.

It was easy to find, instructions were very clear. The only downside was, thought the place was very dusty when we arrived & something very sticky was left on the floor in the hallway, so I had to clean the floor. But apart from that, lovely place & we will definately be back.
