Property info

Hire Wallace our mini caravan that sleeps 2 ( 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child). This is quick pitch comfortable camping at its best, all you need to do is meet us at our premises in Hawkshead in the Lake District National Park, hook up and go.

Before booking please ensure you meet the following requirements, if you have any questions please get in touch first, otherwise we may have to ask you to cancel your booking.

+ To tow a teardrop trailer, you need a full driving license with category B E entitlement. All UK and EU licenses should have this, but please check yours to be sure.

+ To tow a teardrop trailer, your vehicle will need a towbar, with standard towball size of 50mm and either 13pin or 7pin electrics.

+ You will need to bring a standard sized number plate which we shall attach to the back of the teardrop.

+ You will need to book a campsite to stay on, this is a hire only service, you cannot stay at the collection site.

Wallace was manufactured in 2020 by SL Industries. It is fully insulated, has opening windows and an entrance door.Inside there is a comfortable double mattress, TV and stereo. At the rear is a kitchen area, with sink.

The accommodation comprises of one double mattress (w 122cm x l 192cm x d 8cm), Mattress cover and sheet. 2 LED Reading lights which are run off a 12V battery which can be hooked up to campsite electrics. At one end of the trailer a shelving unit runs across the space where the TV is housed, but will also provide some storage. There is an external light above the door. At the front of the trailer there is a Thule 2 bike rack.

If you don't have a towbar no problem or need more space? we are happy to deliver Wallace to a campsite of your choice within the Lake District National Park or provide an inflatable awning for an additional fee, please get in touch with us about these options.
