Learn more about the famous writer at The World of Beatrix Potter (6.5 miles) or visit historic attractions such as Wray Castle (14.5 miles) and Abbot Hall (5 miles). The market town of Kendal is also 5 miles away and has a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and a couple of museums. Take a look at what’s on when you visit the area, as there are frequent festivals, events and art exhibitions.
