The Golf Apartment at Carus Green is located on the ground floor of a block of four luxury apartments.
This superbly appointed apartment stands on the edge of the course overlooking the first tee. From the parking space the front door opens to a smart communal hallway and stairs. The Golf Apartment is located on the ground floor and guests step through the door into this bright and welcoming apartment. Step into the ground floor apartment to the open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with large picture windows to enjoy the views to the golf course and the surrounding countryside. Comfortable leather sofas are arranged around the TV and everyone can spend quality time together here. The kitchen is well equipped and presented and complemented by a family dining table. Fling open the French doors to the patio with outdoor dining furniture and enjoy watching the activity on the first tee. There are two pretty bedrooms, both can be presented with either super king beds or twin beds (please specify when booking). The bedrooms share a luxury family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.
The 18-hole course is designed around the natural watercourses of the rivers Kent, Sprint and Mint and the fells of the Lake District National Park and is a challenging parkland course. You’ll also find driving range, golf academy and golf shop here. All guests are welcome to use the facilities and preferential rates are available during your stay. Complementary use of the club house is available to guests and their visitors and the bars and restaurant serve food throughout the day and have fine views across the course. Located only five 5 minutes from Kendal and only 20 minutes from either the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales you'll find something for everyone. The Lyth Valley is located to the east of Lake Windermere, overlooked by the famous Lake District walks on Scout Scar and Whitbarrow Scar. The sheltered valley is famous for its damson orchards, as well as a choice of several acclaimed Lake District country pubs, such as The Punch Bowl at Crosthwaite and the Mason's Arms at Strawberry Bank. A short walk nearby is the ascent of Gummers How, which offers simply wonderful views of Lake Windermere from the top. The Cartmel Fell tarns route is also a lovely afternoon walk, starting at Bowland Bridge's historic church. The popular foodie villages of Cartmel and Kirkby Lonsdale are both within easy reach offering fine local artisan foods and award-winning Michelin starred restaurants. Cross the valley and you are into the Yorkshire Dales and the Pennines with beautiful villages, rolling moors and cascading waterfalls.
A historic market town with a fine reputation for shopping, Kendal nestles on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Its old cobbled lanes and byways branch off the attractive main street, and the stone ruins of 12th century Kendal Castle sit perched on a hill with views over the town. Visit The Abbot Hall Art Gallery, its regular collection holding portraits by Kendal born George Romney and works by Turner and Ruskin, with other exhibitions through its links with the Tate. Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its superb Topiary Garden are nearby, as are limestone escarpments for easy walking, offering thrilling views of the Lakeland Mountains, the Howgills and Morecambe Bay. Kendal itself is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. With other attractions such as Kendal Museum and the Museum of Lakeland Life, the fascinating Quaker Tapestry, Lake Windermere and the wider National Park within easy reach, Kendal provides a superb base for a relaxing break.

However this time we were told that the garage is no longer available as part of the stay (despite still being available in your property description) this meant that we were unable to store our clubs and trolleys. For this reason, had I not already booked for next year, I would not stay again.
