Garden was enclosed and safe for our dogs. Would definitely recommend especially if looking for somewhere away from the bustle of the central lakes.

(Could have done with a long handled broom). It was lovely to have a welcome off flowers, milk and hot drinks and biscuits to get us started. Thank you. Our two girls enjoyed them indoor and outdoor games and Alexa to listen to their favourite songs and check the weather! Great place to get to Lake Windermere and Conniston Water but also south to Barrow and Walney Island. Lots to explore. We will definitely be back to the area but probably not this cottage- the only downside of this cottage for us was one toilet and shower for the 4 of us was a little tricky at times. But we knew this when booking. Everything else was great!

One tiny flaw, the bathroom door gets a little jammed other than that perfect
