The house was well equipped and comfortable. We especially liked how easy it was to alter the thermostat when it got warm/cold during our stay. The walk-in shower was lovely after long hikes and the kids loved the garden. We enjoyed the short walk into Hawkshead and the fact that you could do a number of walks right from the front door- we did all the ones the property owner had left out as suggestions.
