Snaptrip says

Guests appreciate the property's stunning views and peaceful setting, ideal for relaxation and enjoying the Lake District's beauty. The proximity to the ferry and local walks adds to the convenience, making it a favoured spot for repeat visits. While some maintenance issues are noted, the charm of the location and the overall experience seem to resonate positively with visitors.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with several guests noting it was clean and tidy. However, there were instances of dissatisfaction, including reports of cobwebs, a dirty sink, and a used cotton bud found, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful setting and proximity to Lake Windermere, with easy access to local attractions and walks. The convenience of the nearby ferry is frequently mentioned, although its operation can impact parking and access at times.

Most guests find the property comfortable, with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Some concerns were raised about the size of the sofa and the steepness of the stairs, but overall, the accommodation is regarded as a comfortable base for exploring the area.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being well-appointed. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as heating problems, broken tiles, and issues with the shower pressure, indicating that some facilities require attention.

Guests have noted the thoughtfulness of a welcome hamper, which adds a personal touch to their stay. While such gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that these are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

The rail on the balcony is unsafe. The wooden post to the left is rotten and the screws don't have any grip.
