Enjoying an excellent location with surrounding views, high quality furnishings and a spacious garden, this wonderful property welcomes families, friends and couples for a spectacular stay in the Lake District. Upon arrival, find the ample off-road private parking before getting to know this amazing abode. Discover the fitted kitchen/diner, boasting that ‘wow factor’ with triple aspect floor to ceiling windows and patio doors revealing beautiful views to the Coniston Mountains. Make use of the high-spec appliances to assist with your home-cooking, including a double electric oven, 5-ring hob and an American style fridge/freezer, plus a breakfast bar for quick snacks and a large dining table for meals as a group. After dinner, escape to the lounge and curl up beside the woodburning stove, flicking on the Smart TV in search of a family film. On warmer evenings, step outside to the spacious garden and relax amongst the shrubs and trees or rustle up an alfresco meal using the outdoor kitchen. When it comes to catching your rest, five beautifully presented bedrooms await; on the ground-floor rests a king-size and shower room, perfect for those with limited mobility, whilst the first-floor houses a three king-size rooms, one with en-suite shower, whilst the second-floor is complete with a double and en-suite cloakroom. Less than a mile away lies Hawkshead, a picturesque village surrounded by stunning landscapes, exuding a timeless appeal with cobblestone streets, historic buildings and a charming marketplace that featuring a mix of boutique shops, local pubs, and cafes that beckon visitors to explore its timeless charm. The other famous Hawkshead enthusiast, William Wordsworth, attended the Old Grammar School in 1779-87, which still stands today, and you can visit the building where the Lakeland poet developed his love of the form, and even see the desk into which he scratched his name as a small boy! Newby Bridge is ten miles away and offers attractions such as the Aquarium of the Lakes and Windermere Lake Cruises, sailing daily between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside.
