We were 8 adults and a 6 month old baby spanning 4 generations. It was extremely comfortable, warm, completely silent and everything worked! In an excellent location with great views, the house offered plenty of space and was generally very well equipped apart from a couple of things in the kitchen (no cafetière or baking equipment - bring your own if thatâs your thing). Although the weather prevented us from making the most of it, the outside space is quite remarkable, with lots of parking space, various seating areas in a huge garden, and of course the zip wire! Itâs an easy 15 minute walk along cycle paths (possible with the pushchair) into Hawkshead, where thereâs a little Co-op, and various pubs. We had a meal at Billyâs Barr and would highly recommend it. Weâd very happily book to stay here again.

Loved the fire pit, barbecue and zipline and also plenty of fridge space for drinks and food. Listing didn't specify that there were two single beds in a twin room (which was beneficial for us!). Would definitely return again in the future.

The house is spacious and tastefully furnished. There are lots of places to gather indoors and out which makes for a very sociable setting. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable with good quality bedding and towels. The kitchen is very well equipped and the perfect place to gather round the large table. We were able to walk into the very pretty village of Hawkshead along the cycle track at the bottom of the hill. A great stay.
