While some minor issues with facilities are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently report that the property is spotless and beautifully clean, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable stay. There are a few mentions of minor cleaning oversights, but these do not detract significantly from the overall high standards experienced.

Comfort is a strong point for this property, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the property well-heated. Some guests mention the property being too warm and a few concerns about the mattress, but overall, the accommodation is seen as cosy and inviting.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with modern amenities and a well-equipped property. However, there are comments about the need for more crockery and cutlery, occasional issues with hot water, and suggestions for minor maintenance, indicating room for improvement.
The welcome hampers and local treats are frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a level of thoughtfulness in the hospitality. It should be noted that such gifts, while enjoyed by past guests, are a gracious bonus and not a guaranteed feature of every stay.

With easy access to the Ferry for trips across the water for more adventures, we visited Bowness and Windermere by foot and Ambleside by car. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay in the Lake District as the location itself is secluded from the general tourist areas but is within easy reach if that's what you enjoy.
