The apartment is above a cafe and you can hear music and voices throughout the day from the cafe. That is just about tolerable however on the Friday night, the music and voices could be clearly heard up to 11.00PM. It was impossible to sleep with such noise. I was very disappointed as I considered that this apartment would merit many visits throughout the year. That dream has now been shattered! Adrian.

    The pizzas downstairs were delicious!

However I would not rebook or recommend for the following reasons. Very noisy from the café below. Obviously expected some customer noise, that wasn't an issue, but they play music all day with the speakers placed high near the ceiling and the bass turned up. It bangs through the floor of the apartment. It isn't deafening, but not peaceful either. I would also agree with previous comments about the sofas. After a very long day walking the fells, relaxing into a comfy chair is important. The sofas in the apartment are uncomfortable in the extreme. Finally, although it does come with allocated parking, the listing should be clear that it is located away from the apartment.
