Snaptrip says

Todd Crag View offers stunning views and a central location in Ambleside, ideal for exploring the Lake District. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, proximity to local amenities, and the added bonus of a balcony. While some find the apartment cosy and well-equipped, others note the parking can be challenging for larger vehicles and the living space may feel cramped for larger groups.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the apartment to be clean, with a few noting areas that required attention. The majority of comments reflect a satisfactory level of cleanliness, though some specific concerns about dust and the need for a deep clean in certain areas slightly lower the score.

The location is highly praised for its central position in Ambleside, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The convenience and stunning views contribute to a high score, despite some guests finding the approach a bit steep.

Guests generally find the apartment comfortable, with a few remarks about the quality of the sofa and mattresses. While the living space is cosy for two, it may be less so for larger parties. The comfort of the seating and sleeping arrangements slightly affects the score.

The apartment is well-equipped according to several guests, but others mention maintenance issues like outdated kitchenware and the need for better heating control. The parking situation is a recurring concern, particularly for those with larger vehicles, impacting the score.

While some guests mention thoughtful touches like a gift of wine and chocolates, there are not enough references to consistently evaluate the level of thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score, and guests should note that such gestures are not guaranteed.

Couple of negatives were the parking. Shouldn't be listed as having parking as we were only able to use the space once. As soon as any other cars were parked, you can't get in. We have a Peugeot 308, so not a big car. Managed to park 5 minutes away though. Also no, toilet paper or any form of washing up liquid or soap. Not big enough for four in the lounge as only a three seater sofa. Took turns sitting on the dining chairs. That aside, the location was very good and you can get to the centre of the village in 10 minutes. The view from the balcony is great and we sat out when we could Lovely little apartment, but will not be returning due to the parking situation, which is a shame as love Ambleside.

Very clean and good facilities provided. It is in a very convenient place for local amenities with a great view. We stayed two weeks and would definitely return. The sun room was great (not in the pictures) for a place to sit in bad weather and for drying items. Parking is tight but manageable (we have a Skoda Fabia estate). Sofa is comfortable enough, with a nice foot rest extension.
