Great to be able to walk into the Langdale valleys from the door. Lots of restaurants and pubs less than 15 minutes drive away in Ambleside and useful to have a hotel 150 metres walk away for a quick drink or bar meal

The location felt private and peaceful, even with the neighbouring properties and Chesters next door. I was pleasantly surprised to discover Skelwith Force and Elter Water so close by; perfect for an early morning walk or run along the trail.

There are lots of walks from the house and Ambleside is only a short drive away. The cottage had everything we needed - we would recommend it.
