Glenridding 3.2 miles. Jenny, a charming glamping pod, enjoys the beautiful countryside of the Lake District National Park in Hartsop near Glenridding, Cumbria. Jenny is an excellent refuge for couples or a small family of four, providing a rustic haven to rest in, whilst being surrounded by stunning views. When you enter the deceptively large pod, you'll be greeted with a sleek corner sofa in front of the flatscreen TV, where you can snuggle up with your loved one after a day of trekking with a glass of wine in hand. Continue to the minimalist kitchenette, which features shaker-style cabinetry as well as all of the necessary facilities for preparing delectable meals. These meals may be savoured as a romantic dinner for two at the adjacent table or out on the decking overlooking the gorgeous countryside. As the day comes to an end, retire to the super-king-size bed, while extra guests can sleep in the sofa bed in the living room. The open-plan space is connected to a fabulous shower room, for added convenience. Several evenings may be spent in the outdoor spaces accompanying the pod, where a hot tub entices you with a peaceful dip among the bubbles, whilst the fire pit crackles away in the background. Glenridding is a lovely lakeside town in the Lake District National Park, along the south end of Ullswater. It has the necessities, such as a convenience store, a café, and a range of charming pubs. Some of the pubs overlook the scenic Ullswater lake, where you may engage in adventurous outdoor activities or enjoy a relaxing sail on one of the Ullswater Steamers. The location is popular with mountain trekkers since there are almost limitless options nearby.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at crossgate glamping in hartsop, all I can say is wow, what a view to wake up to the pods have a good amount of room, the hosts were lovely and helped us all with everything we needed also had fantastic touches like prosseco marshmallows eggs etc in the pod for us, the hot tub was amazing we used it every evening under the stars, got to see the northern lights and even had the red arrows fly through the valley on route to Edinburgh which was a bonus, the local village of Glenridding is about 3 Miles away, we did walk it but there are areas of no paths, but the village shops and pubs are lovely and sit right on ullswater lake, we really didn't want to leave, we will be back and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing or walking holiday

The pod and hot tub was perfect, everything was cleaned and maintained well and the owners were just fantastic in every way, really friendly and informative about walks in the local area and was very helpful if we needed anything. Location is stunning with fantastic walks, wildlife spotting and just a really quiet area to be able to relax in. Absolutely loved it will advice any one to go and can't wait to go back myself Thank you for every thing and we couldn't have picked a better spot for our holiday
