The village of Watermillock runs Ullswater Lake and is 2.5 miles from Pooley Bridge in the Lake District, it provides a popular pub serving food. Pooley Bridge has an array of amenities including traditional inns and tea rooms. The Ullswater Steamers depart from the village. There are walks with views nearby, plus Dunmallard Hill reveals Iron Age remains.
