This charming chalet boasts spacious rooms and wood panelling creating a warm and cosy interior. Store muddy boots in the hallway then potter through to the open-plan living area with feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lush hills beyond. Rest up weary feet and flop onto the sofas with a well-earned drink and unwind with a movie or a family favourite board game. The resident chef can whip up some treats in the open-plan kitchen, then gather the family around the table to feast and debrief on the day’s events. Retreat to the cosy bedrooms consisting of a double, a twin, and a single, each with thoughtful soft furnishings. On warmer evenings, throw open the patio door and dine alfresco in the side and front gardens.
Head to the historic town of Penrith and stroll the cobbled streets to scope out the best independent shops, delis, and eateries, within 3 miles. Water sports enthusiasts and ramblers will be in their element with a visit to the serene waters of Ullswater lake, 4 miles, or enjoy a scenic saunter to the impressive Aira Force Waterfall, 10 miles.
