The property itself is immaculately clean, cosy and warm and there is nothing we were short off. It was so safe for our dogs and no gaps in the fences that we needed to worry about. Ruth the owner was very friendly and helpful. Wine and biscuits on arrival too

I didnât read the whole listing properly and was taken aback a bit when I found out there was an extra charge if you want to use the hot tub. Personally I think that should be included in the total price. The surrounding field is perfect to let the dog roam on its own as itâs fenced. Thereâs plenty walks to go on if you wish. If you want to get a meal at the local pub then book it well in advance as itâs the only one within walking distance. Ruth provided a pint of milk and a bottle of wine on arrival as well as tea & coffee, biscuits. And some doggy treats. A fully stocked kitchen with all working appliances and pots and pans, glassware you name it, Even a dishwasher with tabs. Board games, playing cards and books are also inside. Thereâs a handy utility room with a dog wash to the side thatâs a lifesaver. The fact it is adjoining to the barn meant that when our neighbours got up from the table and moved their chairs they scraped them across the floor which happened frequently and disturbed our peace. They had children too that added to it and a dog that randomly barked. You can hear everything next door. All in all it was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend and I would go back again. 4.5* / 5
