Ullswater 3 miles. Pennine View is a romantic, studio-style holiday home in the lovely site of Whitbarrow Holiday Park near Greystoke in Cumbria. Equipped for a self-catering stay and with a wealth of on-site facilities, this dwelling is ideal for a couple, or solo traveller looking to relax and unwind amongst the renowned nature of the Lake District National Park. Step inside to find your living space, with a compact yet functional kitchen space, a dining space to plan your itinerary at, and a sitting area for settling in after a day of walking. From here, you can also jump straight into bed to rejuvenate, and when you wake, you can freshen up in the sleek bathroom. Outside, a charming, decked area provides a space to enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air. Conveniently located on a leisure complex with access to a pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, Eden Bar Cafe Restaurant and gym, outdoor play area, games room, and crazy golf course, among other amenities. Alternatively, why not travel to the village of Greystoke, where you can grab your essentials at the Post Office/shop and treat your special someone to a delicious meal at The Boot & Shoe Inn, ideal for when you want to take a break from cooking. Ullswater and the Lake District National Park are for magnificent walking and cycling trails, as well as a wide range of activities like paddleboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, and kayaking. Why not climb the adjacent Little Mell Fell, Place Fell, Fairfield Peak, or the renowned Helvellyn for breath-taking views? The well-known towns of Grasmere, where you can find the former residence of the great poet William Wordsworth, Ambleside, which is home to Stock Ghyll Force and an intriguing Roman Fort, and Windermere, where you can take a boat out on the renowned Lake Windermere, are all within easy reach by car too, so there’s something for all types of holidaymakers. This beautiful community is 5 miles from Penrith and has 17th-century dwellings. On the fringes of the Lake District National Park, 3 miles from Ullswater, this is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts. Keswick is the north Lake District's holiday centre and boasts several shops, restaurants, a theatre, museum, indoor climbing wall, and miniature golf. The village's 10th-century church, Penrith's castle, and Lowther Castle's ruins add to the area's history. Greystoke is close to the southern Lakes, Eden Valley, Pennines, Solway Coast, and Hadrian's Wall, so there's much to see and do.
