Location is everything and this holiday home certainly ticks all the boxes in that area. That said the house itself has a tired look to it. The photos are probably a little older and look nicer than the real thing. It was comfortable enough for us and we had a good stay, but the property is too expensive for what you get.

Great location, easily walkable to Ambleside. Road can be noisy at times but not bad. Good value for money, ticks all the boxes for a solid place to base yourself with your family &/or dog to then go & explore the great outdoors.

  • Mr Gummerson

Lovely location and great views and walks from the door step. Cottage was OK as a base only to sleep, not comfortable or clean enough for self catering for a week, we eat out everyday due to lack of equipment and lack of cleanliness
