Outside you can find a hot tub surrounded by a marvellous decking and shared lawns, set within an encapsulating dry stone for ultimate privacy where you can enjoy the sun for most of the day next to the lake and woodland views. Backbarrow is a small Lakeland village close to the southern end of famous Lake Windermere. The village is set on the banks of the River Leven, and offers riverside strolls plus a shop and pub. The attractions of the Lake District are close at hand here, including the chance to discover the World of Beatrix Potter, visit the Aquarium of the Lakes, walk the magnificent fells or while away the days in one of the many attractive villages such as Ambleside or Hawkshead.
