The lodge's comfort, including a hot tub and pet-friendly environment, is frequently highlighted. The property's cleanliness and well-equipped nature contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay, with thoughtful touches like a bottle of Prosecco adding to the experience.

Guests consistently note the lodge's cleanliness, with many finding it well-maintained. However, a few mentioned minor issues such as a leak and the presence of dead flies, suggesting room for improvement.

The lodge is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with special mentions of comfy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub is a recurring highlight for relaxation.

Facilities like the hot tub are well-received, but some guests noted issues with maintenance such as a chipped bath, blunt knives, and technical problems with the TV and WiFi, indicating some areas need attention.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a bottle of Prosecco and fudge on arrival. While these gestures are warmly received, it is important to note that such gifts are offered at the owner's discretion and may not be a consistent feature for all stays.

It was the most well equipped lodge we have ever stayed in and the bottle of Prosecco was a great touch. The hot tub was fantastic with super outside area completely safe for our dog. We could not seem to work the television in the main bedroom not sure why and a bigger doormat on entry would be useful with the dog and wet shoes. Thank you for a great stay.
