Snaptrip says

Hill Top Lodge in Windermere is praised for its brilliant location, cosy and spacious interiors, and private outdoor areas with a hot tub. Guests appreciate the homely touches and the lodge's proximity to the lake and local attractions. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a sought-after holiday retreat.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the lodge clean and cosy, particularly the kitchen and living areas. However, a few noted mustiness and cleanliness issues in the bedrooms and bathrooms, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The lodge's location is consistently lauded, being close to the lake and within easy reach of local amenities and attractions. Its setting in a quiet area adds to the appeal.

Guests describe the lodge as comfortable, with special mentions of the efficient central heating and comfortable beds. Some discomfort was noted due to an uncomfortable double bed and a musty smell in one of the rooms.

The lodge is well-equipped, with a hot tub and central heating mentioned positively. However, there are comments about the hot tub needing new controls and some furniture requiring updates, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

Visitors are charmed by the personal touches and homely feel of the lodge, including a Christmas tree during the festive season. While such gestures are appreciated, it is noted that specific gifts or touches may vary and are not guaranteed.
