Most guests found Jaspers Retreat to be clean and comfortable. However, a few mentioned the need for a more thorough cleaning, including vacuuming upon arrival and pet-related cleanliness in the garden. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.

The property's location is central and offers stunning views, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The steep road to the property is noted, which may be a consideration for those with mobility issues.

Fabulous views, beautiful property, peaceful but convenient location.

The house itself was stunning and very comfortable. The views over Windermere were just amazing, even though the weather didn't always play ball.

The views, garden and especially the decking areas with so many seating options gave us a wonderful relaxing holiday aided by excellent weather. It’s hard to find anything that could be improved. We loved the many complimentary toiletries and food and drink items but it then seemed odd there were no spare loo rolls provided meaning we had to buy some! Also a few more forks and conflicting instructions about the bins can I’m sure be easily remedied. Well worth a 5 star rating.
