Some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns were noted, but overall experiences have been positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests have generally found the property to be clean, though there have been several mentions of specific cleanliness issues such as half-washed cutlery, a dirty fridge, and windows not being cleaned. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a consistent problem.

The location is highly commended for its stunning views and proximity to Bowness-On-Windermere, making it an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. The ease of access to local amenities and attractions has been a highlight for many guests.

The majority of guests have found the property to be comfortable, well-furnished, and warm. However, some guests mentioned issues with beds being too soft and a lack of curtains or blinds affecting room temperature and sleep quality.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially for adults and families without babies. Some guests reported maintenance issues such as problematic patio doors and a broken toilet seat. The high chair and cot provided for babies were not up to expectations for some.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owners or managers. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Laurons View tops the lot by far. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Very attractive accommodation and comfortable throughout. Everything provided. It was great having a safe garden for children. The views were to die for. Outside furniture on balcony and different parts of garden was lovely. If we stay in Bowness again Laurons View would be too of list to stay in.

The location was incredible, a short walk into Bowness. The house was clean and modern and had everything we could’ve needed. A massive plus was the balcony with exceptional views, we were also lucky enough to see a couple of jets flying by. A couple of minor niggles which we left a note of in the little book, the patio door didn’t lock which we contacted Lakelovers about, they sent maintenance who advised they would let the owners know. The kitchen window drops when opened so had to be pushed shut from the outside. One of the side lamps in the main bedroom doesn’t work, we tried a new bulb also and it didn’t work. One of the planks on the deck has splintered slightly so we moved the coffee table onto it to avoid anyone standing on it. Overall, nothing that affected our stay much, we would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again! Thank you!!

Very clean & very well stocked. Amazing gardens all around the property and plenty of sitting areas - Great views over Lake Windermere from the main balcony at the front and also through the large living room windows. Really good location close to Bowness lakeside (although fairly steep hill to climb on way back - but shouldn't deter since many people come to Lake District for steep climbs! We will certainly return.
