Broad Oak Lodge in Windermere receives high praise for its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches. Guests appreciate the well-equipped lodge, its modern decor, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The location is ideal for exploring the Lake District, and the property is well-suited for families and groups. While there are minor maintenance issues mentioned, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the lodge's cleanliness, with many reviews highlighting it as 'spotless' and 'immaculately clean'. There is a single mention of cobwebs, but this appears to be an isolated comment in the context of otherwise glowing feedback.

The lodge's location is frequently praised for its quietness and proximity to local attractions in the Lake District. It is described as ideal for exploring the area, though one review mentioned the park being too quiet for children, slightly impacting the score.

Comfort is highly regarded, with guests finding the lodge spacious and well-furnished. However, there are a few mentions of a hard mattress and a bowed bed, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as power tripping and the hot tub not working properly for some guests, which affects the score.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and little luxuries. While these are appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Lodge very spacious, we like the open feel to it, better than some others. We had 3 cars and managed to get 2 near the lodge. Third visit to the site as we love all the walks accessible without a car. Would definitely rebook the lodge. I
