Its location is ideal for exploring the Lakes, and the property boasts modern decor and great facilities. Guests have enjoyed the lodge's comfort and the site's amenities, despite some maintenance issues.
While many guests found the lodge to be clean and tidy, there were several mentions of cleanliness issues such as dirty floors, stained furniture, and unclean kitchenware. These instances suggest room for improvement in cleaning standards.
The lodge's location is frequently praised for its convenience for exploring the Lakes and the beauty of the surrounding areas. However, some guests noted difficulty in finding the lodge due to poor signage.
Guests have commented positively on the lodge's spaciousness and comfortable furnishings. However, there were some remarks about the boiler issues affecting hot water and heating, which impacted the overall comfort during their stay.
The lodge's facilities, including the hot tub, outdoor furniture, and clubhouse, were well-received. Nonetheless, recurring boiler problems and maintenance issues with the hot tub and heating detracted from the experience.
