Pheasant’s Nest Lodge is a beautifully presented, modern lodge located in the popular Kirkstone area of Limefitt Park. Enjoying a quieter location, this lodge has spectacular views of the surrounding fells making the Troutbeck Valley. Pheasant’s Nest Lodge is just a short walk to the onsite pub, which even has a dedicated area for you to sit with your four-legged friend. Stepping inside the lodge you can make your way into the beautiful and tastefully decorated open plan living/dining/kitchen. This space is perfect for the whole family to socialise and play games or enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. Down the hall, you will find two snug bedrooms and a family shower room. Head outside onto the large decking area with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the marvellous views on a summer evening after a long day exploring the Lake District. Your lodge at Limefitt is surrounded by the Troutbeck valley and towering above High Street and the Kirkstone Pass. Here you’ll enjoy nature and lovely views, and the Trout Beck running through the park. There’s a dog-friendly pub on site, a small shop and children’s playground, children’s playground and nearby you can enjoy pony-trekking with a third party provider. From here you can walk through the fields to the fabulous pub The Queens Head, and round the corner to the Mortal Man, both traditional old pubs with log fires and a warm welcome.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Well equipped just to let people know there is a washer dryer there which isn't listed . Lovely decking area with fantastic view Lovely walk at the back of the Haybarn pub .Lodge was spotless wifi was fine if using parkdeans not a problem for us would highly recommend this lodge and a big thank you to the owners

we used it this time as a base for buying stuff etc as we are purchasing Kirstone 10 next door !!

Clean and welcoming on arrival as always.Good quality linen and towels and a great comfortable mattress on the big bed.Well equiped with great views.We will always return to the bolt hole that is Pheasants Nest.The only slight downfall for us (simply because we are old) is the settee is very low and is difficult to get out of but apart from that,PERFECT!
