Guests have found T'whit T'woo to be a cosy and welcoming bungalow with lovely views, well-situated for exploring the Lake District. While most experiences were positive, highlighting the property's comfort and location, there were some concerns regarding maintenance and wildlife encounters.
The property is generally well-regarded for cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean and tidy. However, one mention of a damp smell in the bedrooms slightly affects the score.
The location is highly praised for its views and proximity to local attractions, with easy access to Lake Windermere and surrounding towns. The private footpath to the lake is a highlight.
Guests describe the property as cosy and comfortable, with efficient heating and a relaxing atmosphere. The mention of a lack of hot water in the bathroom sink and difficulty for a guest on crutches suggests some room for improvement.
Facilities are generally good, with modern conveniences and a well-appointed kitchen. However, issues with hot water, storage space, and unexpected wildlife encounters have led to a lower score.
While guests appreciated the welcome bottle of prosecco, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures or other thoughtful touches across all stays, so a score cannot be provided.

T'whit T'woo is a lovely bungalow with a fantastic view of Lake Windermere, which impressed us every time we drove down the hill towards our parking space! The location is perfect for visiting all of the attractions and places we wanted to experience: steam trains, cruise boats and surrounding towns and scenery all impressed us. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
