Once inside property, boiler problem was resolved by owner via a phone call. Neither issue spoilt the lovely time we had at the Old House. We thought it was really quirky, with all the oak beams, flooring, doors and panelling. Enclosed garden ideal for our small dog Abbie. Furnishings, fittings and equipment were of very high quality. The owners have clearly made great efforts to make their guests comfortable and we would be very happy to visit again.

It’s full of character and in a perfect position to explore the lakes. The bus stop outside means you don’t even have to drive. The owners are lovely and very helpful should you have any questions.
