With off-road parking for two cars, this delightful retreat is perfect for families or friends seeking a lakeland escape amidst nature's splendour.

Upon entering this single-storey abode, be delighted by the generous wraparound veranda, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or dine alfresco on warmer days; the perfect spot to relax and soak up the picture-postcard views of the lake.

Enter into the open-plan living area, a real social hub of the property, where you can unwind on the plush seating in front of the Smart TV and electric fire, creating a warm atmosphere for those chillier evenings. The designated chef of the group will be delighted with the well-equipped kitchen, offering everything needed to prepare delicious meals that can be enjoyed at the dining table.

When the day draws to a close, retire to one of the three inviting bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, ample storage for your personal belongings, a TV for those lazy mornings in bed, and the added benefit of an en-suite walk-in shower room, so you can get ready for the day in style. The second bedroom is a single, perfect for children and the third is a twin, ideal for friends sharing.

A sleek bathroom provides a space to freshen up after a day of exploration.

Just a short walk away from the lodge, you will find in the park the boat house which includes bar restaurant, with themed food nights, evening entertainment both for children and adults. There is a children’s adventure playground, and a child’s arts and crafts room. There is also a large swimming pool on the site with spa hot tub, sauna and steam room…for a family or a couple there is so much to do on the site.

When you can pull yourself away from your tranquil lodge, you'll discover there's an abundance of attractions nearby. Hire a boat from the lake opposite and drift along the serene waters, soaking in the surreal surroundings, or park your boat and enjoy a peaceful moment immersed in nature's beauty. Step back in time at the National Trust's Wray Castle and Townend, both showcasing intriguing histories.

Revel in the outdoor adventure at Brockhole on Windermere, where you can explore the beautiful grounds, the large adventure playground or and get your pulse racing with the thrill of zip-lining at Zip World Windermere.

For breathtaking panoramic views and the ultimate photo opportunity, venture to Orrest Head Viewpoint. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.
