You can find two classic country pubs and a supermarket in Old Buckenham, which is a lovely rural community. With its widest windmill and largest village green in the country, Old Buckenham also boasts an excellent airstrip where visitors can see both modern and vintage planes fly overhead. In addition to excellent dining options in New Buckenham, Kenninghall, and Banham, the Banham Zoo has regular Sunday car boot sales. Both Wymondham and Diss, both about 12 miles from Attleborough, have spectacular buildings and galleries as well as antique shops, making them great places to visit if you're looking for something a little more touristy.
