The Ramblers' Annex receives high praise for its welcoming hosts, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the comfortable accommodation, the secure garden for dogs, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome cake. While most reviews are positive, a few mention minor issues with maintenance and noise. The property is well-located for exploring Norfolk, with many guests planning return visits.
Guests consistently note the cleanliness of the property, describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean'. There is a single mention of an ant issue, but this appears to be an isolated incident.
The property's location is generally appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests find the rural roads challenging and there are comments about noise from nearby traffic and aircraft.
The majority of guests find the annex comfortable, with a cosy wood burner and a well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and a secure garden add to the positive experience, although there are a few mentions of noise disturbances.
While the reviews are positive about the facilities provided, there are some concerns about maintenance issues such as a dripping showerhead and a bathroom door that doesn't lock properly. Due to these mixed responses, a definitive score cannot be provided.
Many guests mention the thoughtful gestures, such as a welcome cake and dog treats. These small touches contribute to the overall positive experience, although it is noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

We were greeted warmly and even offered to look after our dog if need be as she is unable to walk too far. By the end of the year we will have been in 19 Sykes cottages, over a period of years. We would say The Ramblers would be in the first 4. Catherine, Steve and Gemma must be doing something right, believe they are nearly fully booked. Would highly recommend this cottage.
Donna
It was very well equipped including a dishwasher and washing machine. Well situated to explore Norfolk, we had a lovely week and would highly recommend this holiday home.
Judy
Would definitely book again
