We arrived early evening and it was lovely to find a welcome pack. The location and seclusion of the lodge made an excellent getaway. The silence was only interrupted by the sounds of nature. The newly installed satellite WiFi was a bonus and a temporary hitch was quickly resolved by owner - Valerie who helped us sort the problem even although she was on holiday (in Spain). Cathy spent many hours with her camera especially focusing on Mr & Mrs Moorhen and their family of 5 chicks. In conclusion we had a fabulous week and will definitely return.

Love the facilities and the peaceful area. Another relaxing break. As usual the week went too fast. We will be visiting again.
