Mr King
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Clockhouse. Beautiful decor, comfy bed, all spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped; everything you could possibly need and more, including a home made lemon drizzle cake, a bottle of wine and other goodies! Located in a quiet village with a pub just a few minutes walk away where we mingled with the friendly locals, participated in a Quiz Night and enjoyed an evening of live folk music. The Clockhouse is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border making it ideal for visiting attractions in both counties as well as the coast.

The house was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. There was even a towel, blanket and treats for the dog. The rooms are comfy and well thought out. The garden was beautiful and enclosed. We spent most evenings with the doors open enjoying the sunshine. The welcome goodies were great and meant we had lovely evening tea and porridge for breakfast. Was great to not have to worry about going back out for food when we got there. We felt so at home and loved it. There was a lovely card which told us about the farmers market the next day. We were able to walk down and get some amazing produce that was tasty and fresh. The surrounding areas were lovely and so relaxing.

Well-appointed and equipped house in a lovely quiet village. The hosts left a (very welcome) welcome pack including a delightful lemon drizzle cake. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped for two people and the bed as comfortable. There was a blanket and bowls to keep our little dog happy. There is a patio garden with a lounger (cushions available in the cupboard under the stairs) which we used on sunny days. Lots of walking places to visit nearby including Thetford Forest and the Redgrave & Lopham Fen. There is the Kings Head just up the road in North Lopham for a drink and the White Horse in South Lopham where the food is really excellent (and you can walk there in 20 mins via the restricted byway running south of the local primary school).
