East Harling 2.6 miles. Ideal for a family or couples, Remus is a delightful holiday cottage in the idyllic rural location of Larling near East Harling in Norfolk. The cottage is located on a farm, allowing guests beautiful rural views throughout their stay. With the accommodation all on one level, the property is easy to access and offers a relaxing and enjoyable break. The sitting room is particularly inviting with an extensive seating area, feature tiled flooring, exposed brickwork, original wooden beams and a gorgeous inglenook fireplace complete with woodburning stove, helping to create a warming focal point to the space. The kitchen is light and airy and has all the facilities needed to whip up delicious food for the holiday party and the dining area has been carefully planned for long, enjoyable meals together and with double patio doors, you can throw them open to let the outside in. If the weather allows, then you can take your meal outside and enjoy drinking and dining alfresco. The outside patio area is a delightful space to spend time in and the views of the adjoining countryside are quite captivating. At night, guests can choose from two beautifully presented bedrooms, either a super king size or a double, and both come with en-suite facilities, so no need to worry about queuing for the bathroom in the morning! Getting out and about exploring couldn’t be easier with the rural village of Larling within a short walk and fascinating towns such as Banham, Diss, Roudham and Eye well worth a visit. There is some breathtakingly beautiful countryside to be found in the region so lace up your walking boots and don’t forget to take a camera for all those photo opportunities. Attractions for a day out include Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam Experience, Melsop Far Park and Bewilderwood or make your way to the coast and visit popular seaside towns such as Aldeburgh, Southwold and Thorpeness. Eccles-on-Sea is a small, quiet unspoiled coastal village on the east Norfolk coast, nestled between Happisburgh and Sea Palling. The beach at Eccles is sandy, with the sea one of the cleanest in Britain, and this spot is ideal for walking the dog as it has no summer restrictions. The village of Happisburgh is 2 miles away, with its red and white candy-striped lighthouse, and Sea Palling, 1.8 miles away, has many facilities, including a Jet Ski centre. The Norfolk Broads are also close by, with Hickling just a few miles away being the largest broadland village, complete with a National Nature Reserve. Unfortuneatly the tv was too small to read the guide so had to guess what i was watching. All that said they were a lovely host. Loved the donkeys.

Accommodation was fantastic with everything you need. Very quiet with beautiful surroundings. Lovely to see donkeys in the field and in early evening spotted deer. Little extras like delicious eggs, milk, wine, marmalade and local cake was a lovely surprise.

We are missing their two gorgeous dogs. Lovely outlook onto fields with the resident Donkeys, Chickens, visiting Deer and other Wildlife. An escape for a short while which we very much enjoyed.
