A well-presented cottage located in the idyllic rural countryside of Norfolk. Perfect for families of four or groups of friends, this holiday property offers guests easy access to some of Norfolk's finest attractions, excellent walking and cycling paths and the chance to explore the surrounding farm.

Follow the farm drive to the lodge and immerse yourselves in rural life. Dust off muddy boots and untangle scarves as you make your way inside the open-plan living room/kitchen/diner. Sit yourselves down on the cosy, bespoke furniture while the budding chef takes to the modern, well-equipped kitchen. Unwind with a home-cooked feast around the dining table while you spend quality time with your loved ones. Spend your nights watching films on the Smart TV, engrossing yourself in the newest novel or sipping a glass of wine out on the lovely decking area. Two tastefully decorated bedrooms are waiting for you when your eyes become tired: a king-size room and a twin room, both boasting en-suite shower rooms. The property has been built to be as eco-friendly as possible using air source heat pumps, water from a private supply on the farm as well as most of the electricity being provided via the farms large array of solar panels.

For an energetic start to the day, venture less than 1 mile to the Marriot's Way, a 26-mile-long footpath and cycle route that meanders through stunning countryside and wildlife-rich habitats, including the Wensum River Valley (7 miles) and Whitwell Common (6 miles). Enjoy a pitstop at one of the surrounding pubs, or drive to Norwich (10 miles) for a wealth of delicious eateries, a plethora of events and shopping opportunities. Other local attractions include Norfolk Broads (13 miles), National Trust properties or up to North Norfolk for days at the beach (all within 20 miles).

      The cottage is lovely, very clean, beautifully furnished and with countryside views. We saw deer on several occasions and went on walks from the front door. It's in a great location for visiting the coast and surrounded by National Trust properties to visit
