Guests say

Fallowfield is a highly praised holiday cottage in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, celebrated for its spaciousness, well-equipped facilities, and proximity to the beach. Guests consistently commend the property's large, secure garden, ideal for dogs and children, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The location is perfect for beachgoers and nature lovers, with mentions of nearby seal sightings. While most reviews highlight the property's cleanliness and comfort, a few note minor issues with sofa comfort and specific cleaning details.

The majority of guests found Fallowfield to be clean and well-maintained, with only a couple of isolated comments about specific areas needing more attention. The overall impression is that the property is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

The cottage's location is consistently lauded for its closeness to the beach, privacy, and quiet surroundings. The presence of local wildlife, such as seals, and the proximity to the village and amenities contribute to its near-perfect location score.

Guests find the property comfortable, with ample space and well-furnished rooms. There are some remarks about the sofas not being the most comfortable for lounging, which slightly affects the score in this category.

Facilities at Fallowfield are highly regarded, with the property offering a fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, and secure garden. A few minor suggestions for improvements, such as shower usability and additional garden furniture, are noted but do not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident through the welcome pack and the comprehensive information provided. While gifts are appreciated by guests, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Just 8 miles from Great Yarmouth, the lovely community of Winterton-on-Sea can be found on the Norfolk coast. Winterton-on-Sea is a quiet coastal town with a large, untouched beach and a natural reserve that has become a haven for uncommon natterjack toads and colonies of terns because of its isolation from the more commercial seaside towns. The village, with its historic fishermen's cottages, thatched roofs, and 12th-century church, is an ideal location for a restful vacation. Great Yarmouth, a nearby popular seaside resort, provides a change of pace with its many shops, one of Britain's largest open air markets, various museums, and its famed Pleasure Beach! A truly memorable stay in a stunning location. The house was everything that was promised and so much more. The only thing we would say is bring back the old guest book where people write handy info about the local area. The digital handbook was great but a hard copy would also be nice.

It was a great privilege to stay in such a lovely home filled with character and charm. It had everything you could ask for and so much more! The enclosed garden was gorgeous and perfect for our Toy poodle to explore! It was a great location for both walking and driving to beautiful Norfolk villages and towns ( that is if you can tear yourself away from Fallowfield!) We ( four of us and two dogs) ) particularly enjoyed our walks on the coast and dunes . We did some of the walks you provided and will have to return to do the rest! Thank you again, to the owners , for being so hospitable and for the generous and delicious Welcome Pack. We will definitely return. M&J

Fallowfield was an excellent choice for 5 adults and 2 dogs for an Autumn holiday. The house just went on an on and was incerdibly homely, Winterton On Sea and Hemsby were fabulous and excellent for the dogs. A short walk would take you to the sand dunes the steps down once navigated are fine but alternatively walk through the delightful village to the beach. We used to drive to nearby Hemsby or the car park by Winterton Beach where there is a wonderful Coffee Hut. The hot tub is more than a bonus it's a necessity! Would highly recommend.
