The thatched cottage is located in the beautiful village of Martham. It has a log burner that completes a full on day of activities. It has all the appliances you would need: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer. The rooms are big and spacious and it has storage space for all your luggage. 3 toilets, 2 showers and a free standing bath is a bonus. There is a hose in the back garden which is very useful for rinsing down beach wear and a large patio set to enjoy the sun. In the village, there is a wonderful coffee shop, a Chinese takeaway, a kebab/Turkish restaurant, a couple of traditional pubs and two Co-Ops to name a few. The cottage is minutes away from a number of beautiful beaches-Horsey beach where you can see a colony of seals, Winterton on Sea, and Sea Palling to name a few. We also drove a boat with Simpsons Boat Yard which was 16 minutes away from the property. They were very accommodating and helpful, especially as none of us had ever driven one before. If you have children, you must go to Pleasurewoods Hill Theme Park which is a short car ride away. Hours of fun to be had. All in all, a beautiful staycation. The owner was very quick to respond to questions/queries and made sure things were ok. Thank you Mike for your hospitality.

Fabulous well equipped, spacious cottage with really comfortable beds. Beautiful, clean, sparkling bathrooms. Martham is a fantastic village with easy access to many fabulous Norfolk places of interest and lovely beaches nearby. Doggie friendly cottage with lovely enclosed courtyard garden. Shame about position of cottage driveway on corner of road, vehicles come round quite fast from both directions.
