Potter Heigham 0.8 miles. Nestled in a rural setting on a quiet country lane in Repps with Bastwick, on the outskirts of Potter Heigham, is this high-quality barn conversion, Cobblers Barn. Offering a generous accommodation for four people, (with an additional two adults on a pull-out king-size sofa bed), this stunning abode is perfect for those looking to explore the magnificent Broads National Park and Norfolk coastline. The open-plan living area has been superbly presented with vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, plus fabulous furnishings and amenities with a wall-mounted Smart TV. Allow the designated chef to relish in the kitchen, home to a dazzling array of appliances including an, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, so you have plenty to assist with home-cooking! There is also a utility room with a washing machine for your laundry needs. French doors lead to the enclosed patio area, where you can enjoy a beverage at the furniture whilst admiring the views over the field towards Potter Heigham Bridge, whilst the hot tub is a welcoming choice after a long day. The bedrooms exude quality, with the master situated upstairs and offering a super-king-size (zip/link) bed with en-suite freestanding bath and walk-in shower, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day. If it’s a day on the beach you fancy, hop in the car and head to the beach at Winterton-on-Sea or venture slightly further along to Sea Palling beach and enjoy sun-soaking, ice cream and amusements for all ages. To witness one of Britain's great wildlife spectacles, be sure to visit Horsey Gap beach. Not only is this a spectacular, unspoilt sandy beach, but also home to breeding seal colonies between October and February! You may reach a stunningly serene and undeveloped area of the Norfolk broads and the River Thurne by taking a short stroll from the village centre. West Somerton is a great location nearby for fishing, strolling, animal viewing, boating, or simply taking in the breathtaking surroundings, which include numerous uninhabited sandy beaches.

    Our heighlights were hiring a picnic boat for the day on the Broads. Lovely fish & chips from Nippy Chippy. Day out at Wroxham & Wroxham Barns, and a Lovely carvery at King Arms at Ludham. The Boat on the Broads was so relaxing. Enjoy everyday of Life, never put anything of for another day. Bridgitte, Andy, Lisa & Alan, Lincolnshire, 6-9 Sept 24.
